This includes:

  • Commonly occurring gastrointestinal conditions
  • Nutritional imbalances and deficiencies
  • Chronic disease and how the conditions relate to nutrition
  • The signs and symptoms of the conditions
  • The contribution of poor nutritional habits to the conditions

This program is for fitness instructors and personal trainers who already have an understanding of basic nutrition and its contribution to a healthy lifestyle.

This course was developed and is presented by Alison Walsh, Accredited Practising Dietitian, Sports Dietitian.

Assessments

Short answer questions assess students’ knowledge of the materials covered.
