Functional Training - Sports Conditioning Level 2

Personal trainers will be given an understanding of movement patterns to develop functional strength specific to sports. The course includes guidelines for sports conditioning using a periodical approach and is applicable for trainers who work with athletes and performance-focused clients.

The course builds on the movement patterns described in the Level 1 program and includes:
  • Functional training considerations for the development of power and speed
  • Considerations for planning the periodised exercise program
  • Advanced functional movements arranged into; arcs, symmetrical and asymmetrical push and pull movements, lower body and upper body combinations
Assessments: Short answer questions assess students’ knowledge of the materials covered.

CEC Points: 4 CECs or 2 PDPs

Cost: $140 Members $160 Non-Members

Course delivery

This course can be completed online. You can enrol anytime and can expect to start within 24 business hours. You have up to three months to complete each module or short course (most people finish much sooner). All resources including narrated PowerPoints, video clips, notes, activities, assessments and student support are included in the cost of the course.
