Dealing with Back Pain

Being able to diagnose and treat back pain takes years of training. The purpose of this course is to give fitness professionals an understanding of common back conditions, helping to ensure they recognise their role in the rehabilitation process.

The course includes:

  • Anatomy of the back - soft tissue, skeletal and joint
  • Common injuries and conditions of the back
  • Exercise prescription and programming for back pain and injuries

This course is presented by Charlie Schall Rioucaur, B.Physiotherapy(Hons), B.App.Sc.(PE), Grad.Dip Ex for Rehab, M.A.P.A.

Assessments

Short answer questions assess students’ knowledge of the materials covered.

Course delivery

This course can be completed online. You can enrol anytime and can expect to start within 24 business hours. You have up to three months to complete each module or short course (most people finish much sooner). All resources including narrated PowerPoints, video clips, notes, activities, assessments and student support are included in the cost of the course.

Correspondence courses are ideal for the student that wants flexibility. We send you out manuals and DVDs and you can work at your own pace, wherever is convenient for you.
