There are a range of exercises that can be performed by your general personal training client to develop core strength and stability, which will be covered in this course.

The course includes:

  • Safety and contraindications
  • Instructional techniques
  • Breathing techniques
  • Neutral alignment exercise
  • Exercises for warm up
  • Fantastic core conditioning and strengthening exercises - how to instruct them/ correct technique/ progressions and modifications
  • The exercises covered include seated exercises, supine exercises, prone exercises, kneeling exercises and floor exercises - for the whole body

This course is presented by Marietta Mehanni, personal trainer and international group exercise presenter.

Assessments

Short answer questions assess students’ knowledge of the materials covered.

Course delivery

This course can be completed online. You can enrol anytime and can expect to start within 24 business hours. You have up to three months to complete each module or short course (most people finish much sooner). All resources including narrated PowerPoints, video clips, notes, activities, assessments and student support are included in the cost of the course.

Correspondence courses are ideal for the student that wants flexibility. We send you out manuals and DVDs and you can work at your own pace, wherever is convenient for you.
