Gain the skills and knowledge to provide clients with exercise programs incorporating Pilates techniques. The course includes a description of exercises, instructional techniques and safety considerations

The course includes:

  • Floor based exercises for the development of core strength - suitable to introduce to provide a base of strength for unconditioned clients or those rehabilitating from injury.
  • Advanced floor based exercises requiring increased strength and control of motion - suitable for your general fitness and personal training clients.
  • Pilates techniques completed on the Swissball - adding a new dimension into your exercise design by utilising the added element of the Swissball into Pilates exercises.

Suitable for most clients and pregnancy.

This course is presented by Kate Cowlishaw, Physiotherapist and Chloe Lorback, Physiotherapist.

Assessments

Short answer questions assess students’ knowledge of the materials covered.

Course delivery

This course can be completed online. You can enrol anytime and can expect to start within 24 business hours. You have up to three months to complete each module or short course (most people finish much sooner). All resources including narrated PowerPoints, video clips, notes, activities, assessments and student support are included in the cost of the course.

Correspondence courses are ideal for the student that wants flexibility. We send you out manuals and DVDs and you can work at your own pace, wherever is convenient for you.
