Observe demonstrations and participate in a range of fitness assessments that are commonly conducted within the fitness industry.

The course content includes:

  • Introduction - pre screening procedures
  • Blood pressure testing
  • Skin fold testing
  • Girth measurements
  • BMI / Waist to hip ratio
  • Cardiorespiratory testing protocols
  • Flexibility tests
  • Transverse abdominis testing
  • Postural analysis techniques and corrective exercise prescription

Assessments

Short answer questions assess students’ knowledge of the materials covered.

Course delivery

This course can be completed online. You can enrol anytime and can expect to start within 24 business hours. You have up to three months to complete each module or short course (most people finish much sooner). All resources including narrated PowerPoints, video clips, notes, activities, assessments and student support are included in the cost of the course.

Correspondence courses are ideal for the student that wants flexibility. We send you out manuals and DVDs and you can work at your own pace, wherever is convenient for you.
