Practical Placement & Assessment

Gym Instructor - Certificate III Practical Placement & Assessment

Students are required to complete a 20 hour work placement in a fitness centre or personal training studio. This is to be coordinated by you directly with a centre or studio. You will receive an information pack to take to the centre to arrange your placement. Fitnation also has a list of centres that are willing to take students for work placements if you need assistance.

Students are also required to complete a practical assessment once they have completed the practical placement. This can either be completed on campus or by video. You will receive an information pack that lists all the requirements of this assessment.
